You have two options:
- Streaming via WiFi (using phone data or other means)
- DISH (or Direct TV)

I have a dome dish installed on my RV roof
I changed my home residence to DISH network at the same time
So now for pennies a day ($7/mo) on top of my residential monthly cost...I can have 24/7 satellite TV access in my RV via a DISH Wally + hard drive

The other option for satellite...DISH has a stand-alone subscription called the Outdoors package.
Pick your package of channels (cheapest is about $60/mo all-in), then turn your dish on/off at your discretion.
During that "off" period, you are not charged.
Many RV'ers like this format.

DISH (IMHO) is a much better system than Direct TV. Plus, Direct TV is going thru some changes right now.

Thank you! I will check into the outdoor package. It is always confusing when we go to purchase And walk away with nothing.

I agree with the previous post. If you do not used ATT DirecTV at home, do not try it on the road. Dish is a much more friendly RV system. That said DirecTV is still my overall choice; basically because I have been using the service for 24 years and know the ins and outs of the mobile service.

We have direct with the Extra pkg
Which makes the cost similar to dish

Since we have DT in the lake hound shop it best for us

Tuscany came with DT swm so that would require changing as well

We get all three satellite signals without moving the dish as well

Sounds like Dish and DT could merge

DT has a superb picture which is nice on the UHD led TV's

Many have changed to Dish and had the cost jump after the initial contract which seems to be common with all the phone and TV pkgs

One bad thing about ATT DirecTV is they lost the right for Distant Network Service (DNS) this year, so no LA or NY feeds when on the road. Changing the service address depends on who you talk to. Some level one tech will. Costumer service can't. ATT says it is against the FCC rules but Dish does easily. I love my HS-17 receiver and can't imagine TV without its functionality and as the previous poster said 250+ channels on one coax without moving the dish (you can record only 7 at one time) with WIFI transmit and receive plus transmitting 4 5G wireless signal to other TV sets.
