So I have a Thor Ace 2016 and my antenna booster has a coax adapter on the plate. Can I use that to install satellite or do I need to do slight modifications to still allow for park side cable?

Satellite requires a direct connection from the dish/lnb to the decoder box. It will not work connected in any way to the pre-installed power injector/splitter.

Here’s an easy adapter to fix your problem.

I opted for something a bit different, the goal being to have pure HD TV in all 3 TV locations...
> I roof mounted my dome dish
> ran the coax thru roof to the an area inside coach where my DISH receiver is located
> from there...a short HDMI line from DISH Receiver to an HDMI splitter
> then from the splitter to separate HDMI lines running to the three TVs

The living room and outside TVs were an ez run. A 4’ & 12’ HDMI cable, ez access.

For the bedroom TV I chose to run a line thru the back of the cabinets. In my rig it was very doable using a 25’ HDMI cord.

Another option for those so inclined is to go up thru the roof and across the top of the roof with your HDMI cord, then back down thru the roof where the Bedroom TV is located.

Bottom line...all 3 TVs can now watch the same DISH channel or independently watch Over The Air broadcasting or independently watch a DVD.
