Seiki TV USB/HDMI

I’m not able to check this personally but could someone tell me if the Seiki TVhas a USB and HDMI port?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

Yes on both, and they can be used to run a FIRESTICK, ROKU STICK, or CHROMECAST...

Have all three installed on them

They are not easy to get to on the ACE 30.3 kitchen TV that retracts into the counter. The space is so limited, it is kind of seek by touch and feel. I found it best to get short HDMI and USB cables and once I found the ports and got them plugged in, leave them there. Then when I want to plug something into those ports, I just reach in and pull the cable out and plug it into the device.

Mine worked OK. My only problem with Dish is getting a signal from my external cable outlet. When I tried to do the amplifier bypass, I got a "no signal" response. Finally found the coax was bad from the external port to the wallplate - cable doesn't work either. Hope to get that fixed next week.

The Dish box has to send commands back to the antenna; at least the Dish Trailblazer antenna. The built-in amplifier will block this. Somewhere on this forum I have seen a mod to the built-in amplifier to allow the signal to be sent.

Since I mainly only watch the TV in the living area, I just keep the Dish amp in the cabinet and run the cable from the Dish antenna through the kitchen window.

gbrown, that mod was what I was attempting when I discovered I have a bad coax. While waiting to get that fixed, I have also been running my Dish antenna coax through the kitchen window. The problem I have with that is I have to slightly open the screen to push the cable through and regularly have the little cheap snaps that secure the screen falling off and disappearing when I open the screen.

I just remove the screen and keep it behind the stove top and backsplash

Another Seiki television question:

I bought a Firestick to use and also a Mission USB Power Cable. I neglected to bring the usual electrical plus on this trip. The Mission says it can be plugged into a television's Powered USB port.

I made the mistake with a speaker once and blew up a television. Does the Seiki have a Powered USB port?

Yes, but it's only rated for .5 amp. The Firestick may require more than that.

There are wireless HDMI 'cables'.
Coax is better due to mechanics, but there are $25 options to make life easier.

I had to use a boroscope and a mechanical grabber and my phone camera to get to my tv ports.

I swear Thor put the tv and mount in place, then added the whole driver's side wall.

Yes and it also has a TOSLINK for a sound bar.
