Selling the RV
Hey folks, I need some info on selling our 2017 Thor Challenger 37LX. Have any of you been down this road before? Health issues necessitate the sell. Looking for info on best place to list the RV for quick sell. Thanks for any helpful information!

I'm sorry to hear that health is forcing the issue...
Good luck with selling it, and get yourself well!

RV Trader seems to get the most hits and best results. It's where all the search engines take buyers. Local Craigslist is decent but you must be careful who you let in your tent.

Yep, RV trader and post here on the Forum.
Also see if you can park somewhere on a busy road near you (But in a safe area) where you can leave it outside (put you phone # and details of the RV on the window).
Even its its just out for a weekend I bet a few will stop... But I would put a price on it to scare away the rift raft. The might think its only $20 K or they might also think its too expensive and not even call you.
I stopped the other day to see how much a 2008 Winabago 39 ft DP was going for ($79 k) but on line I found one just like it with less miles was selling for $59K. But this one had a ton of work done to it, new tires, solar, new interior and lots of extras (it was sharp).
Two weeks later it was not parked outside anymore.... I guess it sold?

Thank you guys. I’ve listed it on the Thor classifieds. We’ll see what happens!

RV Trader is a must. This forum will attract attention but nothing like RV Trader. Nearly every new (to them) buyer starts there first.

RV trader
We bought ours on RV trader. They send updates everyday on what you are looking for. Private and dealer sellers use it. I sold my travel trailer on Facebook for free in one day though!

RV Trader is the best. I just listed my Georgetown on a Monday night (two weeks ago). I got a call on Tuesday, they came to see it on Wednesday and bought it on Friday. I sold it for $2,000 less than I had paid for it 3 years ago. This is the best time to sell. The coach was very clean and everything worked. I also may have been very lucky. This is the third coach that I have sold in the last 10 years, all on RV Trader.

We also posted our Challenger on RV Trader, as well as the local Craigslist. We got some responses from Craigslist but they were nearly all dealers who wanted us to sell it to them for far less than we were asking. We got a couple serious contacts through RV Trader, and we closed the sale today. Which is why this is likely my final post in Thor Forums. Good luck to all of you! We enjoyed our Challenger, we just did not use it enough to be worth it for us.

We used RV Trader to sell our 5TH wheel, took about 70 days, and 2 cycles of ads as they go 60 days for a reasonable price. Got some interested people, showed 5 times and bought by the 6th couple. Deliver it 2 weeks ago and we are relieved to have moved the unit as now we only have the Palazzo DP to focus on.
