So your dealer didn't give you a "Starter Kit" consisting of simple things like:
A fresh water hose
A sewer hose
A pack of toilet paper
A pack of toilet chemicals
etc?

After you spent how much money at his dealership?

There's some "customer service" for you.

The "Starter Kit" is something that can be asked for during the purchase negotiations. They'll almost never off it up without being "poked" first...

The "Starter Kit" that we received on several of our RV purchases is, iMHO, useless. The sewer hose was simply terrible and the toilet paper was single ply and worthless. The last time I was offered a "Starter Kit" I said no thank you. Better to spend a little more money on the essentials and being happy with them than trying to use the "crap" they put in the "Starter Kits".

The difference between what they offer, and what you're willing to accept: that's called negotiating!

Yes they did in fact give me a starter kit:

50 to 30 dogbone
30 to 15 adapter
4 pack of TP
Toilet Chemical
Sewer hose (very flimsy) with 2 bayonet connectors.

25' Water hose

90 deg brass water adapter
2 stainless steel insulated travel mugs

and a gigantic Fruit basket! lol

Their customer service was very good in IMHO.

The sewer hose is a pretty sad representative of its class so I figured a better one would last a little longer.

The Fruit Basket sounds as if it was made the deal...

The chocolate covered almonds that were in the basket definitely sealed the deal!

The only way to determine a good sewer hose vs. a bad sewer hose is "OJT" (On the Job Training). Most newbies don't realize just how crappy the one they give you is, until you use it. Interesting how you will immediately find the flaws.

Yup!
That's why it's usually a good idea to NOT buy one based upon a really great price...

I like the titan hose because of the longer easy to grip end fitting also I curl them like a water hose then connect the ends to each other no smells or leaks.

Once you hook the ends together: where do you store them?

Do you happen to have a picture?

I've also stored mine in the dump bay; but am always looking for better ways to accomplish the same thing.

Me too,I'm kinda old and hands don't have the grip they used to so was pointing out the longer connection ends were easier to grip and twist and connecting ends together was easy.

I have the same problem. I bought the wrenches for the Rhino hoses and problem is gone.

Those longer grip areas on the Titans DO look inviting...

But my Rhino Extremes are still doing a pretty good job of handling a "crappy" situation.

Why do they put sewer hose storage bumpers on RV's that will not fit a sewer hose with fittings?
