Sewer Saddle Bag

Has anyone here purchased a sewer saddle bag? I would appreciate your input on this item. It's sold only on their own website which doesn't appear to have a secure socket from what I can tell. www.thesewersaddlebag.com.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the yellow "sandbag" that is laid over top of where your 90 degree outlet, and the sewer connection meet?
I have one of them, and I think it works great!

Thanks.
I looked at them but didn't like having the weight in the cargo bay

What I bought was a sewie pig. It fills with water. I fill it at set up and empty at the end of the trip.

Not all campsites need something to hold the sewer hose in place. But I use this when needed

Awesome, I have wanted something to hold the cap down. Especially at the koa sites since their coupler is threadless. Anyone used one of these at a koa?

I have never stayed at a KOA where the sewer connection had no threads.

On the other side I never stayed at a Thousand Trails where you didn’t need some type of weight. I use water filled saddle bags purchased off Amazon

You could use these from Amazon:

Or use this - seems to stay put where ever I use it:

I have thought about getting one of the flexible adapters. Glad to know it works as advertised.

Seems like a waste of money to me. Plenty of free stuff out there that will do the same thing.

I normally use rocks if they are around but the last koa we were at didn't have any so I resorted to the good ol foot on the cap trick.

If I'm at a full hookup site, I don't connect the sewer hose until I'm ready to dump. If it's a primitive sewer connection (no threads, or odd size) I just lay the threaded 90 into the hole, flip the "lid/stopper/plug" thingy over onto the 90, and hold it with a foot. No big deal.

I never leave either tank valve open, so the hose isn't going anywhere... and I'm standing there anyway when dumping.

I usually have a few extra heavy rubber leveling jack pads - so if the sewer "port" is farther away, I just lay one of those on it.

I carry pre-leveling boards and on the odd occasion that it's not threaded I lay one on the 90*. No extra weight needs to be carried or space wasted since the boards always go anyway. Not a bad idea, just not needed by everyone.
