Thor windshield wiper system recall?

A few weeks ago we received a letter from TMC, informing us that there is an "Important Safety Recall" on "certain" 2014, 2015 & 2016 Gas Class A motorhomes related to the windshield wiper system that may pose a problem with being or coming loose.

The Safety Recall number is 17V-162.
The Safety Advisory number is RC000131.

We have a 2016 Hurricane 27K, with a 2015 Ford F53.

Our VIN was specifically referenced in the letter. However when I search the VIN (two different sites), the "Open Recall" results come up zero.

The letter states that our dealer will be notified, and that we should contact them to schedule a "fix."

Anyone else working with this?

check this site

I have an ACE and have already had problems with the windshield wipers, one flying off in a storm. It has been fixed (by my son as CW didn't do it correctly) but it did damage to the body of the RV which has yet to be fixed.

I saw the notice in my FMCA magazine so I called Thor. They told me my 2015 hurricane 34 F was affected by the recall and that no parts were required that I needed to take it a Thor authorized dealer to have the bolts re-torqued. Because they could come loose. They told me CampingWorld was the closest to me. I can see my rig sitting over there for 3 weeks for them to do this so I decided to check them myself.

Notice

I never got a notice; mine is a 2016 and not included in the recall...even though they were installed backwards. I think they missed 2016.

I contacted our selling dealer and they do have the recall info on our Hurricane, based on the VIN. We will make an appointment to take it in and have it adjusted. It's only a 180 mile round trip.
