sheet sizes

Ok so what sold me on my Thor was them advertising a king size bed. Turns out its a "short king bed", it's wide like a king but much shorter. I went with this size of bed not wanting a rubber inflatable mattress, even though my feet dangle over the end of it .... does anyone know where you can order sheets/linen to fit this bed properly? Do I have to take everything to a "seamstress"? Or do I go with a queen pillow top to replace it? tks/Mikey

My wife ordered ours from

RV Sheets, RV Sheet Sets, RV Comforters for your RV, Truck, Camper, Motor Home | Advanced Bedding

She also got some that were the correct width but longer and they work fine without tailoring.

I thought ours was a true king also, but not so. I already had these elastic sheet garters if you will. You connect them on the underside of the sheets on either side of the corner to pull the sheets tighter. You can buy a set at Target for like $4. Also doesn't help that most sheets are made for deep mattresses or deep pocket sheets for thick pillow top mattresses. I certainly wouldn't pay over $100 for sheets!

I bought regular king size sheets and two pairs of cheap suspenders. We disconnected the suspenders and stretch them across the underside of the mattress to tighten the sheets. You have to get the cheap suspenders that are only held together with a thin metal triangle. It works fine and only adds about 3 extra minutes to putting the sheets on the bed.

There is a video on the web on how to use the suspenders to tighten sheets. They even talk about the different suspender clips and which ones to use.

Here is the link to the video
