Slide creep

I have a Thor Challenger 2019 37yt. The passenger side slide which is probably a three-quarter wall slide and holds the dinette and the residential fridge has been creeping out slightly on extended trips of a hundred miles or more, about an inch. My storage place which is also the dealer is looking into it, but I was just wondering about a couple of things. I bought some adjustable slidewall reinforcers to put in but my dealer says that the way the wall is designed it's about 3,000 lb and he does not think it could take the pressure of one of these supports. Looking for any kind of opinions regarding this. I tend to agree with him. Because the placement is very limited.

The slide motors are supposed to lock the slide in place once it is retracted. If your slide is moving out while driving, that would indicate there is a problem.

Either the motors aren’t locking or an electrical issue is allowing the slide to extend slightly.

I think I would have it looked at to find out why the motors are not keeping it locked.

All that being said, I recently purchased a pair of adjustable slide locks on Amazon. I have a full wall slide and just think locks make sense given the side and weight of the slide.

Going around sharp right-hand turns are good to put a lot of stress on the motors. I think having to slide locks in place will help take some of the strain off them. I am not cranking them down super tight. Just tight enough so they are slug and won’t move during travel.
