Slide Lubrication

First time having a motor home with slides, so I need some advice on how to lubricate them. This is on a 2016 Miramar 34.2, please give some advice on what type of oil/grease to use, where to apply and how often. Thank you.

Morning Folks,
Here is some info that might help:

CRC Power Lube with PTFE.

It has been said to try and not lube the whole length of the rail with any type of sticky grease etc as this attracts dirt.

Rgds
Tex.

You can also use the silicone spray bought at most any automotive store or Walmart, it has the same Teflon as CRC & is cheaper & easier to find. DO NOT USE WD40, it will swell rubber & dirt sticks to it.

is there any place under the FL slide that would benefit from lubrication also?

no oil no grease

NO OIL NO Grease on the seals
I'm sure there's a selection of chemicals out there to buy/use. It may not be dealer correct but I was informed to use baby powder or talc powder just rub on seals with an old sock. So far so good no sticking. As for UV protection, those dash type wipes or sprays like armor all etc, I have been using both. I typically do mine when they don't feel smooth or been exposed to the sun a few weeks and if it rained while the slides are out.

They have changed their policy and now say don't lubricate, blow out occasionally with compressed air. I personally don't agree with that but they're the ones that make them.

I've read this same thing in another post recently.

Since there is no way to get at mine form the inside, I've been practicing this all along anyway!

I have found that over time and use, the squeeking gets better..... or maybe I'm just getting used to it.
