We Put Our Baby To Bed.

We left at 5:30 this morning in order to get our RV up to the Dealership for it's WinterTime nap...
Winterization, roof inspection, MB "A" Service, Try getting the tank sensors to be more accurate, give the 'Fridge a bit of a look-see, and figure out why it's not lighting up the propane...

...and have them install some recliner Theater seating for us.
I think that we'll keep their shop busy!

Just think how nice it will be when they are done and you are able to get back out on the road once the season changes.

We "consoled" ourselves with a shopping expedition to CW while on the way home.
We also filled up the fuel tank, and got 15.1 mpg.

I feel your pain.
Ours goes into winter hibernation this Saturday.
First time for us not keeping our camper at home in many years.
Cant seem to find a builder around here thats not booked until next year.
Its a long winter here but with the snowmobile season its goes fast.

Cats..
I started with Ski Doo, then Scorpions (until A/C bought them out), and finally Polaris...
Different strokes: my friend!
I was at the shoot-out when Cat introduced thr Thundercats. They pulled a spark plug wire to mess with the crowd.
It ran the quarter mile at 81 mph... They then got serious, and it ripped off some 107 mph runs.

Bob - do you have any concerns about adding extra weigh with the new recliners? One thing I have been very sensitive about is the loaded weight of my MB C class and I know the Tiffin has approx the same weight considerations. Thoughts?

We dropped ours off this morning.
Ice on the hood and roof.
Just in time.
Removed all the negative cables from the large buss breaker. Hopefully the batteries do OK.
They were fully charged.
This is the first time not storing at home with trickle chargers.

Koho,
We pack pretty light, and always travel with empty tanks.
It's not a concern for us.
Besides: they became an option for the new Wayfarers...

We had a gorgeous 80 degree day this week and I brought the rig home. Changed the engine oil, winterized, lubed about everything that moved and cleaned out everything liquid that might freeze and anything that might appeal to various rodentia. Hope to take it south at some point before spring though....

Ah but now we're in the fun "off season" of RV'ing where you get to plan next year.

I've been planning various routes to see if we can do a two week trip out west around Colorado or further. Some examples...

She's beautiful Bob!! If I could have justified the cost that was along the lines I was looking at but in the end I just couldn't do it with all the unknown around Covid and my job, etc.

I love looking out my kitchen window and seeing mine - makes me happy (probably too happy for a normal person LOL). Many I have had before I could not store at home.

You are right JamieGeek - I'm sad the season is over but it gives me time to plan. I also want to try and do a big trip out West. I wanted to do it with my last MH but my teenagers weren't excited so you know how that would have played out. Also the price of gas at the time was at $3.90 to $4.00 a gallon and that was a larger unit than I have now so I decided to wait until no kids in the picture. I'll have to see if I can get anyone besides the dog to make the trip with me this time.

I do have a reservation in SC in April to look forward to. Right at the end of the row facing the beach at Ocean Lakes in MB. Generally not my kind of place these days (w/out kids I prefer state park type places) but I really liked that one early in the season when it was quiet.

Take care,
Beth
