Slippery captains chair

The captains chair is very slippery causing my husband to brace while driving causing fatigue. Any suggestions to help with this problem. We can't lower the chair any further and Ford said it's the only chair that comes with the Windsport 29m

Maybe a beach towel over the seat, or a cloth seat cover.

You could try the grip stuff (Amazon) like used for shelving.

The seat post can be cut and rewelded. It would be a minor PITA to remove but not prohibitive. There are any number of after-market seat replacements online, from mild $$ to quite pricey. Check with an independent RV repair shop.

Some sort of seat cover would seem the easiest way. You could always have an upholsterer make a custom fit cover to your liking. Shouldn't be cost prohibitive.

One of the best improvements I did to our 29m was Sheep Skin Seat Covers! I got them on Amazon, "Blondie's Pit Stop" custom fit my front seats! They fit great, look great and feel great!

We purchased a set of captain chair covers from CW before we left the dealers lot. Installed them as soon as we arrived home. 23 miles.
We do not have the slippery issue and the orig intent was to protect the original chair upholstery.
Wish I could be of more help. The seat covers from CW work good for me.
