No? Bummer. I remember the sound they made when you got it right - like a sewing machine, unless you had solid lifters. Then, it was about the rhythm and they all had to sound the same. Long screwdriver, handle in one ear and the tip at spots along the valve cover to make sure you got it right before you buttoned it up for another 3k miles.

Valve lash was gravy money for the local mechanic. The slant 6 Chrysler was the last ones I remember doing.

Sorry no photo for this, but today on a 2 lane highway we met a pickup pulling a travel trailer and I noticed something dragging from the back of the trailer as it approached. Whewe passed each other, I could see it was his stinky slinky that had almost worked completely out of the bumper storage. Will he think someone stole it?

And will someone run over it on the road?
