Soft Water tank storing
We have the On The Go portable soft water tank. Looking for feed back from anyone who uses the portable tank and storing it for the winter

Does the water softener have to be back-flushed, and regenerated B4 Storing for the winter?
Can it just be drained and then do the regeneration in the Spring?
