stabilus lift-o-mat struts replacements

My awning has 2 (1 on each side) STABILUS LIFT-O-MAT struts that I can't find replacements for. Here are all the numbers on the struts

693833 0490N 116/17 B 7
032227-003

I've tried Googling all these numbers with mixed results but none of the struts that come up look like my old ones. Nor do I know what the 116/17 B 7 means. I get good results with 0490N but the numbers in front don't match mine. Not sure what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Absolutely no help on this particular question; other than to ask another question.

Are you familiar with Douglas Adams?

Because "Stabilus Lift-O-Mat Struts" really sounds like something from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I'll see myself out....

Have you tried the awning manufacturer?
I bookmarked Carefree of Colorado for our awning parts.

Well then I recommend you got to the Thor Owners Resource website and create an account with your VIN.

Then see what awning you have so you can go to the manufacturer's website and get a part number for your struts.

You may also be able to figure out what Make/Model awning you have from the build sheet normally posted in one of the bedroom cabinets but it may be abbreviated and cryptic.
