Steering Wheel Bounce and Shimmy

Just got back from a 7000 mile trip to the west coast and back in our 2016 ACE 27.1. The motorhome performed very well, no significant problems. The only annoyance was the constant hand massage I received trying to hold onto the steering wheel. We stopped half way and got the tires re-balanced and alignment checked with no improvement. Once home I had a set of Centramatic wheel balancers installed front and back. I noticed a significant improvement but still have to find a "sweet spot" speed to drive where the shaking is minimal. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has experienced a similar issue and found a solution.

I have installed a rear sway bar, front steering dampener, and Sumo Springs front and back.

I had the same problem on out Hurricane 31 S F53 chassis. We just got it back from the Ford dealer last week. At 7,000 miles the King pins needed replacement and the why was a top bushing was missing on the right wheel since the factory. Apparently reading the other motor home forums this is happens with some frequency. I paid for wheel balancing , they also replaced wheel bearings, front stabilizer bar was loose ( i might have the wrong term there), but I would get an occasional clunking in a turn, or over a bump, no adjustments needed for a front end alignment. Luckily it was under warranty except for the wheel balancing.

Do you get any vibration in the Coach, or only thru the steering wheel? In our prior Coach we had this issue mostly at highway speeds, but I also felt a vibration in the Coach. After much frustration turned out to be a wheel (rim) just oh so slightly off spec that it was not caught in wheel balancing.

Hey sorry I did not see your question. It was mostly in the steering wheel with the occasional clunk came through the floor. I just came back from a short trip and there is some vibration coming back. The unit only has 9000 miles.
