Sun shade help

Hey all! Looking for some recommendations for Class C windshield sunshade. I can’t seem to find anything that I can use in interior and that is easy to move on & off. What have you found success with? I’m thinking maybe just a roll of reflective insulation. Thoughts??

$45 for a custom fit windshield shade? Less than a roll of Reflectix.

When I had a Class C I used two sets of extra large 'twist' sunshades. One set for the windshield and one set for the door windows. They were inexpensive and lasted for the life of the RV.

Sort of, kind of slightly related:
We had clear ceramic film installed on our windshield.
It helps considerably, but not like a shade does.

We have used a shade from Campg Wld in our Class A coaches. About $20, it looks like a bigger version of one for a car. The magnetic ones are great, but involve a lot more $$.

One more comment about Refletix
You'll have enough to make covers for the side windows.

Suggestion: better buy 2 rolls you'll be making covers for ALL the windows

Besure to update this thread with which product you go with

Im A big fan of reflexit but the windshield on a class c I'd still go with heatshield. Then use reflexit on the interior windows. That what I did on my super c

I bought a roll of Reflectix at Lowe's. A roll with enough to do the windshield and both side windows was around $20.

It took awhile to draw out a template, but using careful cutting I was able to make the pieces fit perfectly. They tuck gently in around the window edges and stay put... no tape required to hold them in place!

When not in use the windshield piece folds in thirds and we store all three pieces on the cab-over bunk.

Probably one of the most useful and cost effective mods I've done.

Hands down...... WeatherTech. There is nothing better for entire cockpit coverage to block out light and summer heat..... or add heat in the cooler months when you reverse it.

Exact laser cut fit for almost any Class C chassis......

https://www.weathertech.com/ford/201...iew-mirror/no/

I had the full cockpit kit in my Outlaw 29C (E-450) and I have one now in my Magnitude (F-550). They are easy to use and work great.

Went with Heat shield and it is perfect so far. Got the front and side windows covered. Not quite blackout, but best I could find and price was great!

Also bot Weathertech shades for our Mercedes Sprinter cab on our Gemini 24TF Perfect fit, stays in place and provides total black-out for sleeping. In cooler weather we reverse them so the black side faces out and helps warm the cabin. They easily roll-up for storage above cab.
