Pulled converter and looks fried.. wondering about replacement. called late and Thor and Local Camper world ( 75miles away) both closed.
Replace the same unit? Any advice?

You likely have a WFCO unit - not sure what size in your rig...
Will cost a little more, but I would probably go to something like this:
Progressive Dynamics 70 Amp Converter with Charge Wizard - Progressive Dynamics PD9270V - Converter/Chargers - Camping World
Guessing 70amp is an upgrade over stock... And progressive Dynamics brand over WFCO.
May get different opinions from others.

Yeah, I'd have to do a lot more research myself....but i will say that over the years i have seen a fair bit of mention of replacing WFCOs with Progressive Dynamics. Apparently better charge profiles, better all around, or some such thing....

So installed the progressive-dynamics-70-amp-converter-with-charge-wizard/92845 and everything working as it should! The old converter was definatly blown, thanks for the advice, all.
Now to take care of the cracked windshield.... always something!:facepalm

Mcars302 - what has been your experience when you bring the electrical problem to the attention of the campground staff? I have a portable Progressive unit, too, and feel safe when it tells me all is well - never had an error - but I am skeptical that they would or could do anything about an error I got - other than tell me to try another spot, or move on down the road...

Thx
Dan

The one time I found a low voltage issue (intermittent) I told the campground... They weren't aware, had it checked and found a loose connection causing overheating in one of their main distribution panels.
They thanked me for letting them know.
