Table post in 2014 chateau

We have spent 3 nights in our new Chateau. Already have a list of problems. We are not new to Thor Rvs having 2 40fters in the past. They seem to come off the assembly line incomplete. Well this Chateau has the same problems. A minor one we can't figure out is how to get table leg out of floor. We need to make dinette into a bed but can't get leg out of floor. Any suggestions are appreciated. Rv is going back to dealer to solve other problems but we need this fixed before it goes back. Thanks

Get a rubber strap filter wrench, put it near the floor, and work it back and forth. I keep one in the RV and the House to open lids on jars.

I don't know if your table post is like mine, but there may be a black button at the base that you must depress and then turn the base counterclockwise to remove. I have found the black button to be a real problem to depress and turn the pedestel at the same time. On my citation I removed the table and replaced it with a tray table purchased at walmarts. This works for me. hope this is of some help.

It was a real chore to remove ours the first time. I think they hammer the post in position to secure it at the factory. It took a lot of effort to get it loose.

I've had my rig close to two years and could not figure out how to get the table top off. Just grip it firmly by the front edges and pull up. Once I did that, the pole came right out.
