I bought a couple of 12 volt DC TVs to replace the 2 inside the coach, very low amp draw and I use the fire stick and have the Verizon Jet Pac, I get a signal any where I get a phone signal, no need to be hooked up or run the generator, its a simple system and you will get the Netflix or any other system you are subscribed to, or you can sit outside at a campfire and do like the good old days tell war stories

I had planned to get at least one 12 volt TV last year... when I priced them they were really pricey for a basic TV. I wound up getting a budget priced digital projector which has worked okay.

Where & what did you buy, and how much $? I Would like to have a budget 12 volt option!

The TV in the living room is a 12volt, came that way and it is great, like said no hook-up or generator needed. Wife goes to bed earlier than I do and her TV is 110 so generator time for that. I have read some 110 TV's run off 12 volt through the little box that actually plugs into the 110.
Still have the original bedroom TV and will look into this when it goes bad. Not one to replace things that work. Jim.

Chateau Nomad, the 12 volt TVs I bought are Jensen and are made for use in an RV, they are the same size as the ones Thor put in, they are not a smart TV and were around $325.00 each, you buy the fire stick for around $30.00 and get a MIFI unit with an unlimited plan and you get to run your lap tops and watch both TVs at the same time, the fire stick will allow you to watch all the pay Chanels you have at home such as Netflix and Hulu, I looked at the satellite units and they were pricey, I do not know who has the best system but mine works great for me, as long as I can get a Verizon signal all is good
