Thermostat fuse keeps blowing

I recently returned from a trip to Kentucky. Thankfully it wasn't to hot, because my front air didn't work. After setting up my 2016 Challenger LX I went to turn on the air and I heard a click noise from the front A/C and then the digital display on the thermostat went out. After removing the cover I found a blown 5amp slow blow BUSE fuse. I replaced it with another one, and the same thing happened. Any suggestions on where to start?
