Once our dealer and we agreed on the price, no more add ons. Our dealer could make the numbers say whatever they wanted them to but the #s we signed for were the only numbers I cared about. Add $1000 for an inspection on after our agreement and we'd have walked.

WOW - what a HOSING.

You are absolutely correct that this was a Camping World not a Thor issue. I have since picked up my rig with a new problem that I am positive they caused and I will never take it back to them.

I only hope that other perspective buyers read through some of your experiences. Gotta say it took me two buys to be a real SOB. On the third coach (our beloved Challenger) we did most of the things right. Bought mostly on price, found a solid service center that could do the big stuff, did some myself AND REFUSED to transfer $s until the whole PDI was done. Everything was spelled out in writing with the offer. Dealer finance peeps were upset and I pulled out the written stuff and stayed the course. First year was still a bother but Thor stood up. If at all possible plan a trip to Thor factory service before the end of your 1 year warranty to get everything fixed up by a great bunch.

PS: Please check your batteries, I'll bet there low or even dry after the CW trick. Hopefully no permanent damage done.

Yeah Thor has been great and explained the whole process as it should have been done. The batteries have been charged up but the store switch is no longer working. Since I had CW reinstalled a battery and sensor cable that as they said was installed wrong. Of course they wanted to charge me to fix it. I said no thank you, you broke it then fix it. They refused.

Hang in there. We wouldn't trade our coach time for anything else. Enjoy.
