30amp to 50amp

Hello to all, I am changing my 2002 Damon Challenger 348 to 50amp. I found behind my power station 2 large green wires and a half a dozen smaller white wires, I am also a builder, nursing homes, my question is it prewired for 50amp, they are black taped and strapped to wall. I also never did figure out how two ac's can work on generator 30amp but only one on shore power 30amp have a 5500 Onan on board 30amp. Mostly why two green wires and not a black and red? Thanks for any input, Jim

Not pre-wired for 50 Amp.

5500 watts is greater than 3600 watts supplied by 30 amp SP.

If your rig came as a 30amp unit, I would highly doubt that the manufacture would spend the extra money and time to heavy up and install wiring needed Incase you wanted to upgrade to a 50 amp service. Unless you optioned it. You could always call the manufacture about schematics and if they prepped units to upgrade to a 50 amp service from 30amps.
