Feeling like it's going to tip over

I have 4 family members who have ridden in our 2018 Four Winds 31W (in the back) and said they get the feeling of possibly tipping over when rounding corners. We then took a 2013 Cruise America Majesty 28A that's for sale and all 4 gushed at how it was such a safer feeling ride. Granted, it's a stripped down model, no slide and a couple feet shorter than ours. Is there good reason why such a difference in the ride between the two, all else being equal (meaning these corners were taken at very safe speeds)? We didn't think to drive more than a couple before buying so not too familiar with how different coaches ride. We're not going out and trading this in, just an observation I'm curious about as a new RV owner. Thanks!

My guess is the Majesty had torsion bars and a track bar added to it.

The 31W should be much heavier and have a higher center of gravity than the much simpler 28A.

That would be my guess. I seriously doubt a rental company like Cruise America upgrades their motorhomes with heavier sway bars and track bars.

And for what it's worth, I've driven the 28A for thousands of miles, including in the mountains in Colorado, Utah, and California.

Sumo springs would also help remedy the "tip over" - "top heavy" feeling.

Many if not most tall vehicles will actually tip over for real, not just "feel" like it's leaning.

That's one of the dangers with so-called "upgrades" that limit lean, or side-to-side sway. The driver may not feel as much warning before the vehicle tips over.

Some suspension mods, set of Firestone Air Bags, both or one or the other will make the rear end more stable while cornering. I plan on a set of air bags for mine maybe next month, just what I prefer vs. changing stock suspension and something I can do myself with my limited physical ability, tools, workspace and experience.

Here's a silly question: are you sure that your tire pressures were up to snuff?

I like to start working a problem from the simplest possible sources first. The tires just seem like a good starting point.

Must avoid this happening at all cost. Best not to push limits on tall vehicles with high center of gravity. Easy prevention is to slow down.

So I ended up ordering a new digital tire gauge (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and a tool set (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) specifically for the RV.

The tires were about 3-4 lbs low each on the back four and about 8 lbs low each on the front two. Not sure if that makes a big enough difference, but I look forward to taking it out for a test drive with DW in the back to see if she notices any difference in the next day or two. Thanks for the tips!! (No pun intended)
