Thor meet ups?
Hi, new Thor owner here. I was curious if Thor has meet ups? I have seen Grand Design fifth wheels have meetups where techs are there to repair anything under the sun, give lectures, fellowship with fellow owners, etc. I saw where Thor has a group with meetups for their diesels but not just Thor brand in general.

I don't remember seeing or hearing of Thor doing any outreach to improve customer satisfaction.

This Forum has several meetups a year on both the west coast and generally in Florida. In fact the latest Florida one was 6-10 October. There will probably be another one in April.

There are informal rallies but nothing that Thor attends. I believe they have sent a rep or two to the FMCA Thor Diesel Chapter rally once or twice. Not sure if they have recently.

Gerry has been good at getting the Eastern Thor dealer maintenance rep to attend some of the Florida rallies. It is not a sure thing, as Thor is not directly involved in the rallies; only "Mister Sunshine". As to why specific factories sponsor rallies. Diesels (REDs) and Grand Design are made in only location, where Thor MC has at least 4 different factories which are individually managed entities.

Welcome to the forum! As Beau stated, we've been doing spring and fall rallies in Florida, with a Thor rep when there were enough participants. Join us next April!
Suggest you set up a gathering, and see who shows up! Remember the theme, build it and they will come? PM me if you want some ideas.

Thor sent a rep for our first So Cal rally. He talked for about an hour then went to anyone's mh if they had a problem or question. He wasn't there to repair anything but helped the best he could to answer individual questions. The group as a whole were very happy with him
