RV's sold in the US during June 2020: 40,462 (45% increase over May 2020)

First Time Buyer: 50 - 80% of New RV Sales

Growing Market Segment: 25 - 40 year old (largest percentage of first time buyers).

I think there’s going to be a lot of used machines on the market in the next year or so as people figure out that RVing isn’t quite as easy as it looks. Some people will discover a new traveling passion/lifestyle but many are likely to go the other way!

I agree......

Some folks are going to find out there is a lot more work to it than going to a hotel. They aren't going to be prepared for....

- The joys of dumping
- Being in a confined space for a long period of time if the weather goes south
- Driving through narrow and confined spaces
- Backing up and parking
- The downside of the great outdoors... bugs... snakes.... poison ivy
- If pulling a camper, underestimating the vehicle they needed to properly tow it


After a few trip some people will realize it was a good idea but not for them and there will be some lightly used campers and motorhomes on the market.

Boat sales along with RV's in SW MO are setting records

Camp grounds and parks will be very busy in the highly visited areas

Next year will be interesting indeed
