Vegas vs Axis headlights - Opinions Please

I am looking to buy the Vegas or Axis 25.2. The major difference appears to be the headlight locations.
The Axis is horizontal.
The Vegas is Vertical.
I'm leaning toward the latter. What is your opinion?

My opinion: It is such a small silly thing. The units are identical pretty much otherwise. I'd go with the one that you can get a better price for or that has a better dealer.

When we got our Axis I didn't know the Vegas line existed and if I had I would still have gone with what we got unless I found an identical Vegas with a better price or at a better dealer.

For reference:

I think I like the vertical one, based on that picture anyway...

you know, it's silly, stupid even.... but I think it matters. Little style things matter to people. I think its rooted in personality or something...

I like the Vegas headlights but liked the Axis graphics lines. Inside decor of Vegas had a swirl pattern that I didn't really care for ... though none of that was really a true deciding factor in our purchase.

The Vegas has a slightly larger engine compartment access. From the pictures it looks like it might be only at the bottom. I had heard this fact before, but from the side by side pictures you can clearly see it. I don't know that it would make any difference in any case since all you see when you open the grill is a huge radiator.

The Axis did slightly better in Wind Tunnel testing. This according to a seemingly knowledgeable Thor rep who I believe was an engineer. I know he wasn't primarily in sales. He said the Axis is just slightly rounder in the front end producing more of a ball type aerodynamics. He was not trying to steer us to either Axis or Vegas, just relaying the facts with an offer to help us get whichever we wanted. I doubt this fact would make enough difference to deter someone who liked and could get a better deal on a Vegas.

These are the only differences that I know of for sure.

Oh yeah: one thing to note: the Axis has a row of LEDs along the bottom of the lights that is on as a highlight most of the time.

I would suspect the Vegas has one as well along either vertical side.

Yeah, JamieGeek, Vegas has the LED's vertical on the outside. Axis and Vegas roll down the same line and only the exterior shading, front treatment and minor decor touches are different.
Once you pull the trigger, you'll never think about the silly differences again. Thor offers the choice to double the dealers offering the product. Just like Chev/GMC has done for years. Ford/Mercury and Chrysler/Plymouth did it for years, too.
Dealer support is less important after the warranty expires, so we're back to best price.
