Storage questions

Just got our ntu 2015 Miramar 34.2 and have to store it at our relatives place that has RV parking area. 2 Q.s: 1: do I turn off L.P. at tank while parked our I'd the switch to off at the control panel good enough... 2: Do I leave it with jacks down (thinking better for tires)... If so I have a 40min drive in traffic. Thanks.

Propane off at tank and jacks don't need to be down. The tires don't care.

Agree with Tfryman, propane off at tank valve and jacks can stay up when in storage. Depending on where you store your coach, keeping the jacks up also protects the bare shaft steel from elements, rust, drying out, etc.

If you do store with jacks down, and many do, climb under and give them a liberal spray of silicone to protect the shafts.

We are fortunate enough to be able to store our MH in our extended driveway. We have been leveling up so we can extend the slide. What brand of "silicone" (asuming it's a spray) works well for the shafts?
And, it probably wouldn't hurt to wipe them down once in awhile either.
