Agree. 80 psi is very likely under inflated on an ACE. Follow your yellow sticker until you determine that you can safely decrease the pressure by weighing.

The plate on my Axis 27.7, located on the wall to the left of the driver’s seat, gives the following.

75 psi front
80 psi back

These pressures seem to work well. You will find various recommendations here that slightly modify these pressures, for example 75 psi front and 72 psi back.

Yeah, that's not what they mean. The tire manufacturer knows that the tires are going to heat up and that's why they tell you to fill it cold. Perfectly normal and fine if it heats up to five or more pounds per square inch over the max, that's what the manufacturer intended.
