I know it looks like planks, but it's not, it's sheet material. It was laid down on the subfloor before everything was added, so all the furniture sits on top, just like in most travel trailers. That's why I think the options are to cut it out or apply it on top. Issues with the slide will occur with the latter option, but I am holding out hope that an experienced amateur or a pro can tell me otherwise.
I don't want to do this myself, so that is why I am hoping to find a company or a guy in a work van that can do it near me.
