Too many TVs!

Second question about our new GR22. It has three, count them, three TVs! What's up with that? We bought the coach because it was on sale, but we don't watch TV when we're camping. Maybe the grandkids will watch their favorite CDs. The salesman said that some people remove the outside TV and install a pegboard to hang tools on. That sounds like a cool idea. Has anyone done that? ~Ted

I have 2. They get some use on rainy days (bedtime for me) and during the hockey playoffs abs football season. Hang on to them, you never know

If I could watch TV on my iPad easily and conveniently, I'd eliminate all of them. Maybe keep one small one that could operate wirelessly and from batteries so it could be moved around easily like an iPad.

I suppose for larger families TVs make more sense so everyone can sit together to watch a movie or show.

Our Axis came with 3 TV's and two radios. Traded two tv's back to the dealer for 3 vent covers installed.
I mounted all the solar controls in the hole where the outside tv was.

It's diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

We removed the outside tv because we knew we would rarely want it. That cabinet is a great place for window cleaner, wax, spray oil, bug spray, wasp spray and a roll of paper towels. I decided against a pegboard because it is shallow, and I didn't want things rattling.

....cut.....

If only the industry would see it that way.

If 3 TVs is what the majority wants, then that's what we all need.

I get it's probably cheaper to add an extra $100 TV than inventory different combinations with and without TVs.

I complain too. Our 40' Tuscany actually has 4 TV's! Two never get used and that includes the one outside. But the main one is a 60" unit!

Hey Mr Sunshine, great idea! Thanks! I just did it. I'd like to post a picture of what I did, but I don't see an easy way to attach a picture to a Quick Reply! ~Ted

New use for outside TV cabinet

Following Mr Sunshine's comment, I created a two-level cabinet out of the former TV cabinet. Now to sell the TV on craigslist!
