Freightliner Funny (at least to me)

Okay, I'm going to share this. It is good info but for some reason, I had to chuckle when I read the last sentence.

This was at freightlinerchassis.com under "Engine Compartment Maintenance"

When camping in remote areas, check the engine compartment for small animals that may have taken refuge for the night before starting your engine. They like the warmth of the engine compartment but will make a real mess if you start the engine while they are nestled in the fan shroud.

That sounds like the story I heard about the snake that was keeping warm in an engine compartment in the Arizona desert.

A rodent found a one-way ride to our house in the engine compartment of our minivan. The van had spent the day in a downtown underground parking garage. On arrival at home about 30 miles away the odor gave its location away. Fortunately it didn't make a big mess -- could have been much worse.
