I would like to know if people out there driving Motor Homes are concerned about having a tire problem on their towed vehicle. If so are they putting tire monitoring systems on that tow? Also if you are what manufacturer did you buy from? Thanks

We purchased the Tireminder i10 system with 10 sensors for the Motorhome + toad. Can see the tire pressures for both vehicles on one screen plus temperatures on the second screen.

I am looking at the CAREUD T901tire monitoring system
for my tow vehicle. Does anyone know anything about this unit?

My Sonic has built-in TPMS but the only time you can read the pressures is if you have a problem. I installed a cheap Tymate TPMS:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RV2YPQ3/

which works great in the TOAD. I bought a repeater for when I move the monitor to the MH but so far I have not installed it as the monitor in the MH works fine as well.

Repeater:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RV2YPQ3/

Price of the repeater has gone up 50% since I bought it less than a year ago and the TPMS has gone up $10 in the same time period. You decide who to blame.

X2! The i10 is so accurate that I rarely check my tires with a gauge anymore.

Same here. TireMinder i10. Not cheap, but works flawlessly.

Tst 507

Just installed the TST 507 on both the RV and our toad. So far it’s working great.

For me, a TST507 with 6 flow through sensors and 4 screw-on. 6 flow throughs on the Hurricane and 2 screw-ons on the dolly and 2 screw-ons on the rear wheels of what ever of the three vehicles I tow. The repeater fits under the rear cap and is wired to the license plate light. No problems other the battery changes every three years. The display/controller is just to the left of the steering wheel.

We use Tire Minder TM77 with 10 sensors. I would hate to destroy my toad because I didn’t notice it had a flat. I would say just about any system you can afford is better then nothing. That being said don’t put cheap tires on your Toad.

I use Tire Traker on the coach and toad. I have found it to be reliable with good customer service. Nice screen that is easily viewable in all light conditions. Easy install and reasonably priced.

I tow a 2004 Scion XB. I was driving across Northern Ill. when a tire went on my toad. My daughter was in the passenger seat and said right away "that doesn't sound right". I said "nope", got out and discovered the blown tire. Of course it was dark and raining but I fortunately had a working spare and found a good place to pull off the interstate.

We didn't cross any RR tracks or hit a pot hole it just went.
The moral of course have a filled spare and changing equipment at all times. My monitoring system is my ears.

That’s what I use. I like the new version (i10) because it seems to be quite accurate. I rarely use a gauge anymore. My previous TireMinder system was not accurate at all. Still useful for noting loss of air, but not a reliable indicator of proper inflation. And the TireMinder people are awesome!
