Ranking Memberships every RV’er should join?

There’s so many out there but I have these, how many and which ones should we? From best to less.

Harvest Host - used quite a bit
Good Sam - like the fact that they are decent campgrounds but not first choice.
RA Camping - no choice sonetimes but hate the reliability of available sites
KOA - occasional but normally pricey
All Stays - sonetimes
Passport America - haven’t used. Always blacked out.
Campendium - not yet.

Is Escapees ‘worth it’ ? I know it’s more social but thoughts.

Others?

I think you just have to read the fine print and decide if the traveling areas and best discount times are inline with your hard plans. There's so many! Also, the reviews are the best medicine. There's so much data out there for free, I prefer to make my way as I go. Seems every "club" is sistering alongside other clubs and the discounts at the same places overlap within each membership. What I don't like about Escapees is you can't see the locations until you join. Second...reviews say sites are hard to get, as in, always booked.

Harvest Hosts is the same way: can't see the sites until you join (but I can see why with that program--what would prevent someone from just calling a site without joining).

Yep...but there's enough "people of no word" posting their stays and the names of the places on YouTube hoping they will gain favor by high views. It was enough to see the general idea of what the program is. HH and the vendor sites patrol the membership requirement pretty close..they've checked our credentials every time.

We’ve stayed at HH ten times and never asked. We did need to tell the RV Golf club since so new I guess.

I know it’s a personal choice just wondering what the overall consensus was. Will setup a poll.

We've got:
Good Sam
KOA
Passport America

We just haven't put them to good use yet!

Just signed up for HH, have been a KOA member for a long time (probably as long as we have been camping) and thus have used it quite a bit.

We use:

Passport America - pays for itself in a couple of trips
Campendium - free
FMCA - joined for tire discounts

Dropped Good Sam. Gas discount is at more expensive stations so it really didn’t save. Camping discount not as good as PA.

How much did the FMCA tire discount save you? I’ll be needing tires in the next 12 months or so and have thought about joining. It’s not expensive. Thanks.
