Transmission slipping

I have a 2007 28A with only 14567 miles on it. I recently stated towing a Jeep. My ck engine light has come on throwing a Transmission Slipping code. Has anyone dealt with this before? Could it just be.the Transmission Solenoid? I can't imagine the Trany is going already with so few miles on it. The fluid is still red. Any ideas??

My 2 cents ....

I'd reset check engine light and then test motorhome by driving without towing Jeep. Since problem may be connected, I'd first want to rule out towing as the source of problem. It's not likely, but neither is transmission problem with such low miles.

Well I had it cleared and came back towing. I'm clearing again in the morning and then testing without the Jeep. We'll see! Thanks for your input!

My preference is to backtrack when problems come up after making a change (particularly if easy to put to the test), even if it should be unrelated. Otherwise I'd always wonder if something weird I didn't anticipate was going on -- like maybe Jeep brakes are partially on, or added towing load is making transmission run warmer, etc.

I wouldn't drive much at all if it does feel like there is any slipping though.
