TV DVD player can not pick play

We have new 2017 Freedom Elite 23H. First trip we wanted to watch a movie we put it in and it played all the previews then when the bar at the bottom came up to pick play for the movie we could not get the arrow buttons on either remote to work. The TV is a SEIKI and has a large remote the blue ray player is a Sony but for some reason has a smaller version Seiki remote. Neither has a play button, the arrow buttons work when doing setup or menu mode. Should the Sony player have a Sony remote? Any suggestions?

Never heard of a Sony DVD using something other than a Sony remote. You might try to google the DVD player and see what kind of remote should have been included and then get Camping world to give you the correct one.

I did look on the Sony site and they ship a Sony remote with their unit. So not sure where it got changed out Thor when they installed it or at CW when they put remotes in the accessory bag. Emailed and talked with CW not only about this but other warranty issues so far to no avail. Maybe I'll call Thor customer care and see what remote should have been included and maybe they'll send me a Sony remote. Thanks again.

If you can arrow up and down in the menu try pressing "OK" to select that item. You should have recieved the remote that belongs to the DVD though.

Strange when you arrow up and down in the menu and click ok all those things work. But it just won't do that to click play movie. I guess the answer is they gave me the wrong remote. Their just not very responsive. Thanks
