TV Teplacement

Outside tv on our 2017 Vegas just stopped working. No clue why. Only used a few times less than 20 hrs. Any suggestions on replacement TV’s ? Thanks in advance.

Anything you pick up at someplace like Best Buy will be miles better than the one you are replacing.

If it were me I'd go with a 4k HDR set (doesn't have to be smart but most of them come that way these days).

Last year I replaced two of my three seikis with one lg and one proscan.
I like you am a old Vietnam vet. Cabin fever the past winter made me get a smart tv for the home. Never thought I needed it but found out about streaming and love it.

If I do it again I would definitely buy Smart tvs. Talking to a couple of campground owners about limited bandwidth, they are considering increasing wifi and dropping cable because of rising trouble and cost from the providers.
They know not all campers are not capable but it is just a matter of time.
I use a unlimited data on my cell and now have a hdmi adapter for my phone.
Worked great (as long as cell service is good) on the last weekend outing.

I'm no fan of Seiki TV's but did you check the one that 'died' to determine if its a power problem to the TV? Could be nothing more than a blown fuse. As a quick test, unplug the TV from the motor home and plug it in to an extension cord on a good working AC plug. If the power source in your RV isn't working, a replacement TV won't solve your problem. This will at least confirm if the TV itself is bad. If it is, definitely replace it. I found a 'factory refurbished' Samsung 32" LED smart TV on Amazon for $99. , free shipping and no sales tax. Had same warranty as a new TV. As stated, most anything will be an improvement over Seiki's.

That’s exactly what I did Oldchief. I plugged a small lamp into the plug the tv was plugged into and it lit up big and bright. Thanks for the tip on the refurbished tv. Looks like I’ll be shopping tomorrow [emoji23]
