Sewer hose difficulty
I have a difficult time trying to put the sewer hose connection to the discharge outlet. Just can't get enough grip to twist them together. Has anyone found a hose with a larger grip area at the ends or a way to get more leverage on the hose or any other solution?

A good set of rubber gloves that are slightly tacky might help...

you can also buy a spanner wrench for those for a couple bucks. They also work great.

I never knew that they existed: Thanks!
Now if I can just find a "hose-spreader..."

Getcha one of these 45 degree elbows, mount it on the outlet; put your cap on it when not in use (swiveled up). Swivel it down through the hole to connect the hose. Added benefit of seeing when your flush is clean.

I had the same issue. Had the hole on bottom of compartment enlarged and had about a 4-6” wide and long slot cutout towards the side exterior of coach. Now i can easily get the hose and attachments set on sewer outlet and use one of those Orange wrenches to tighten it on or to loosen it when I am done. Working really well for me

Yeah, just find out the demensions and cut a piece of 1/8" plywood to cover it, for storage, so the animals don't move in. That plywood goes under the batteries on the other side too so when they have to come out, it's easier.

Cut a larger hole in the bottom of your waste bay, you can order just about any size deck plate. https://www.westmarine.com/deck-plates

I to was having a difficult time locking and unlocking the collars.
I had some left over dot 5 silicon brake fluid, lubed o ring on cap and around 3 points on both sides of connections and what a difference.
Cheers!
