electric bunk Controller
I have a 2016 Challenger 37KT with the electronic bunk, having a problem with it not stowing evenly, the mfg is telling me to find the controller for an error code, I have fount the controllers for the slides but can not find the controller for the bunk, any Ideas where I can look, I have looked under all the storage bays with no luck

Does your bunk use the schwintek mechanism? If so have you re-timed it?

On my Challenger 37ND the bunk controller is in the cabinet over the drivers side dash (cabinet that lowers with the bunk).
I would take a pic but I dropped my coach off at the dealer today for service and state safety inspection.

Mine in my Vegas 24.1 is behind a false wall in the left side wall of the interior of the cabinet above the sink. Not sure where it is for your model, but it should be somewhere close to the bunk. Look at your cabinets and do any of the wall seem thick.

If both sides of the bunk are raising and lowering there, more than likely, will not be an error code flashing on the controller and it is as Jamie mentioned a matter of syncing the motors. If on the other hand the bunk is not operating at all then you need to check for an error code.
As a note, your bunk controller should be identical to the slide controllers so if one or the other goes out a swap can be made as a temporary fix.

That's a great thing to know. I never thought of switching controllers as a last fix. How difficult is it to switch them out in an emergency?

A couple of screws and a few cable plugs in at the controller. My estimate would be, for my rig, five ten minutes max. The difficulty would vary by model and how the controllers are mounted in the different models. In my case all controllers are in a cabinet or storage compartment so I would not need to remove any access panels or false cabinet bottoms.
I haven't verified this yet, but the same should hold true for the slide and bunk motors.

Mine are slide and bunk and they look the same externally. I will have to look closer and see if they are the same number. Thanks.
