Warranty issue

I have a 2015 Thor ace. Bought unit new a couple months ago. I recently set it up using the automatic leveling and one of the stabilizing jacks bent. Has anyone else seen this? The manufacture is denying warranty on it. I have picture of the unit with the jack still bent out to the side and the ground is level yet they take no fault. I also am extremely disappointed with McKee RV in Perry Iowa.

Is Lippert the manufacturer of the leveling system and by manufacturer are you referring to Thor or Lippert?

Also, di you talk to the manufacturer yourself or did you get the denial of service through the dealer?

As of now I have only spoken with dealer. I am waiting on a call back from Manufacturer now. Yes the cylinders are made by Lippert. The dealer service is horrible and I don't get it I just bought it from them you would expect some cooperation. I will post after speaking to Thor if and when they call.

The owners manual gives you the contact info for Lippert. They have a separate warranty. You may want to give them a call.

Thor will have you contact Lippert.

Spoke with Thor today and it was a completely different story than received from the dealer. They are taking care of the issue. Very pleased with the customer service at Thor.

Often times the dealer does not want to perform warranty work because they received a lower labor rate than what you would pay yourself.

Generally I have received excellent service when talking to Thor. The only exception was when one of their folks suggested I drive my coach to a dealer with the slide stuck out about 6 inches. I hung up on him and called back to talk to another person who authorized a mobile tech.

I suggest you go to www.rvservicereviews.com and post a review of the dealer service so others are aware of your experience.
