several questions and things to consider:
- what power source do you have? 50amp RV service, 30 or 20amp service, or the Generator? only the Inverter?
- while the the circuit that powers the Dryer and Stove Top are obviously on the same breaker, are you SURE that this breaker is not tripped, or have you reset it? Is it a 240v Double-Pole breaker?
- does the 'switch' that toggles between the two appliances 'work'? Meaning, does it power either of the Dryer or the Stove Top, or neither? Is this 'switch' a manual one, that you control, or is it an 'automatic' feature, which defeats or turns off the other appliance when you turn on the primary appliance?
- if you are plugged into 50amp RV service, are you sure that you are receiving power from BOTH hot legs(Red, Black wires), or Left and Right slots of the outlet? Do all of your Air Conditioners work?
Does the same conditions exists when running the Generator?
When something suddenly doesn't 'work' in your 50amp RV, especially TWO things, but others still do, it is usually the sign or symptom of the LOSS OF POWER to one 'hot leg' or 'side' of the 50amp 240v incoming power supply.
You might have one air conditioner working, while the other won't, etc., since these are each power by the 'other' leg of power. This means that you have lost a connection of power somewhere between the Shore Power breaker, Outlet, your Shore Cord male plug end, your coach's ATS(Automatic Transfer Switch), or even your coach's own Main 50amp Breaker set.
When you remove all shore power(unplug), and have the generator OFF, check all connections for the main RED, BLACK, and WHITE(Neutral) wires in all of these locations.
