EDIT; The construction of a septic and holding tank are completely different and the functions inside this tanks is different.
That being said, A poop mountain will be eaten up as well as the BIG TP blockage with septic system treatments. Used on a one time emergency basis, it works. Don't ask me why I know. I put some in, waited two days, drove around for a half hour, and then emptied. Put ten gallons of water in and added more. One week later repeated the drive and emptied. Never a problem since. Once is enough.

I still think my idea of NO #1 in the toilet was the right idea. Unless of course you are pregnant and the traffic has been stopped for hrs.

Sewer Roaches, Gnats, Now I'm afraid to hook up to the RV site sewer connection.
What do YOU think #1 is?

I agree to a point. Several years ago on our 5th wheel the black tank gate valve wasn't closed completely for a good while. This trailer doesn't travel and it may have been a month or 2 of regular use. A significant mound developed. It would not flush out even with repeated attempts using the black tank flush. I did fill and let sit for close to 2 months with Rid-X. We were on a trip in the motorhome so the trailer could "cook" for a while. I did manage to finally get the pile softened and out but it took that long. A couple/few days won't do anything. I'm very careful now to make sure that gate valve goes all the way closed.
