Water pump is also 12V and doesn't need the genny.

There are a few reasons why the water pump won't pump water:
  • No water in the tank
  • The valve between the tank and the pump is closed (in the winterizing position)
  • The pump has no prime: Open a faucet and run the pump until water comes out (provided that the first two aren't the issue)

Thank you! It wasn't primed!

Sforal, it's ok, it does take a while and every coach is different but the basics are the same. Don't worry about questions, one or more of the super nice people on this forum will always help. I've been doing this over 35 years and still ask questions!

No issue as Dave said: We've all been there.

I've discovered things about our campers years later (like the trim around our TV has a piece that pops right off giving you easy access to behind it--didn't find that until someone mentioned it on here after we've owned the Axis for over a year).

Is there another shut off valve other than the ones that are for the water heater? Where would this be? We're also trying to set up our coach for her first trip, and the water pump turns on but no water. Thanks

There’s a valve coming out of the fresh water tank going directly to the pump that must be opened to pump from the tank.

The next time that I crawl underneath my rig: I'm drawing a road map to all of the important "attractions"!
