Don';t die.. I got back after a breakfast date, and trip to Walmart, and time spend putting stuff in the rig!
I'll cut this into separate posts, and see if it works!
Yesterday: 7:15 am. We arrive for our 8:00am appointment. Rather than listen to the Missus wind herself up over what might happen: I decided to walk the parking lot. I found a whole bunch of trailers that didn't have their outside storage compartments locked!
7:55am We hit the doors as they unlock, and head straight to the Service Desk.
"Service Guy Dave" (SGD asks us if we had seen our rig. I said "no"; even though I had noted it's location.
He tosses me the keys, and sort of points in the general direction of where "it might be". (WTH????)
We get to within about thirty feet of it, and I already can tell that this will be a very long day.. The Missus has already noted that it's not as clean as she thinks that it should be.
I go to unlock the coach, and she sees a fresh scratch on the door. The day is looking darker by the second!
Inside: it's apparent that they haven't cleaned it one damn bit! sawdust, mud, footprints, and handprints are all over the place.
Now: I'm getting ticked-off...
I start it up, and pull it over in front of the store... I even make sure to block a lane of traffic!
Parking brake on: the levelers deploy, and get it ready for the deployment of the slide. I start the generator up, and it settles in to a nice rpm level...
And I hit the extend button for the slide...
It moves about two inches, and stops!!
