THOR #2005
What is a "Ford F-18.0" chassis?

I once again visited the Thor Motorcoach website today in search of some info. I put in my identifying info - name, addy, VIN, etc., and the page popped up with my "unit ID", year-make-model, class.

Then I noticed under "Chassis" it says Ford F-18.0.

Our Hurricane 27K was sold as a 2016 model, but the chassis is the Ford F-53, built in 2015.

I did a brief search for "Ford F-18.0" and can find nothing.

Is this a possible typo on the part of Thor?

Eileen - confused in Arizona

Its a chassis gross vehicle weight identification marker. Your chassis has a 18,000 pound GVW rating. My previous 2012 Hurricane 33G was built on the same chassis.
