What the heck?!?

I've come up against an... issue!
We bought a low-pressure gas grille, and a 12 foot propane hose...
The Plan: to hook the grille up to the exterior low-pressure propane outlet at the rear of our Outlaw...
Guess what???
The hose has connections on it that fit nothing!!
What do I need in order to convert this pile of parts over to something that I can cook my Bratwursts on?
Do all of these Low-pressure grilles have the same kind of fitting on them? It appears to be a quick-disconnect sort of thing...
How about the fitting on the Thor?

Thanks for your help: I'm waiting here... credit card in hand: ready to order the right parts A.S.A.P.
(We leave on Friday for Lake George...)

camco olympian 5500 grill

Our Synergy has a female type quick connect fitting at the back of the coach on a low pressure propane outlet. We purchased the Camco grill on Amazon.
Works great. There is a male type fitting on the grill which attaches to the coach with about a 4 to 6 foot hose with the corresponding fittings. All we needed to connect came in the box with the grill. Hope this helps

That sounds about like what I need...
I found a 12' hose on the Camping World Website (#86731). The fellow I spoke with; assured me that it has the right fittings to hook a low-pressure grille, to the side of the motorhome...
(So my fingers are crossed, and I'll know more on Wednesday, when it arrives!)

Bob - sounds like the new hose may be the answer - it should have a quick disconnect on each end, one a male and one a female. If the grill is set up properly (no pressure regulator onto which you would screw a green bottle of white gas), you are good to go - happy grilling (love those bratwurst!)

It's very difficult to find mating halves at different times. The dealers selling these rvs with the quick disconnects should provide the matching half to what's on your rv or at least stock them.
If you provide pics of the grill, hose & the disconnect it would be helpful.

My previous TT came with the grill also that was plumbed for this setup. Go to an LP gas distributor with your grill, etc. They can make the hoses for you with the quick disconnect fittings as well as changing the fittings on the grill if necessary. They also will be able to make you one a bit longer where you don't have to cook those Brats nearly under the MH. I had one made 10' long.

Here's another question: Assuming that I have the proper hose coming; is it possible to change the ends on these kind of hoses.

Or is it just going to end up in the crap heap?

Any full service LP distributor can make any type of hose and fittings you need for anything you wish to run on propane. They can cut and re-configure the hoses.

Thanks for that info!
I've got one of them about 25 miles from here, and it'd be a nice excuse for a ride on the Spyder!

Similar Issue

Bought a Aussie low pressure grill at Camping world and a hose they said would fit. NOT. Long story short went to General RV for proper hose $80 but I was finally able to cook outside The fitting of the Aussie is a 1/4 inch Hint.

UPDATE: After spending $31 bucks for the proper hose, and another $27 to ship it overnight ..........

We're making Blue flames!
Bring on the Bratwursts!!

Does anybody need a hose? It's set up to be screwed onto a propane tank at one end...
