Where to start on installing satellite install

Just bought new 2018 Thor windsport 35M. Want to use direct tv but there is no place to plug in a coax cable-all mine are HDMI.

I can only be specific about Dish Network but Sat tv is all the same just different recievers. Are you talking about portable like the Wineguard or roof mounted?

On the TV? If there is no coax on the TV how do you get over the air (OTA) channels?

And why would you want to use Coax from a satellite receiver to the TV? Doesn't the satellite receiver have HDMI out?

DirecTV receivers have coax in from the antenna and HDMI out to the TV. Our Hurricane came with an HDMI switcher that we plug the receiver into and send the HDMI signal out to any of our 3 TVs.

You will run coax from the dish to the Direct Box, then HDMI to each TV. I have a roof mounted satellite auto deploys with one button push, Coax running from it to the direct box in a cabinet above the refrigerator, then HDMI to each of the three TV's.

I installed a wally with dish King Tailgator in the RV today.
I had hope that connecting to the cable plug would surprise me and work either with the ant power booster on OR off. didn't happen.
I'm thinking along the lines of adding another port like yours with an HDMI splitter. I did purchase a second wally for separate viewing but that will require even more brain cells than I have left. At the moment, I'm using the outside TV for dish because it has easy access for the wally. I could run the coax through a window I guess for the time being but all that work will take away the fun of watching tv.

Where did you get the new cable port? It looks like the orig.

I took the easy way out in my Windsport 29M. I ran a coax from the bottom of the cabinet that holds my hdmi splitter and Dish Network reciever down behind the valence through the dinette bench and into the bay below. You only see a few inches of the coax. I like being able to connect to my Wineguard Pathway X2 on the same side as we're setting up campsite. In addition we can still connect campsite cable in it's normal place, thus giving us both cable and sat. Sorry I don't know how to rotate the pictures.

Were you able to locate the original splitter in the coach?
I wish I had some idea where to locate that.
I'm now thinking about trying a wireless HDMI set up for the sat unit.
Just thinking but it may just work.

I personally never looked for the splitter. According to the Wineguard instructions the connection from the recever to the dish should be a home run with no splitters, so that's the path I followed. The length of the cable run was also mentioned. I'm sure many have found success by spitting off from behind the antenna panel. At least with the 29M it was so simple to run the cable straight down to the bin I couldn't resist. As I stated I can still connect both sat and campground cable at the same time, thus having cable on one of my tvs and sat on another. I also plugged an Amazon Fire Tv into my hdmi splitter. This way I'm feeding both Sat,Fire TV and cable to all three of my tvs at the same time

I connect satellite to coax port on side of motor home. Inside in cabinet above dinette is my satellite receiver. I installed A/B switch that goes to coax in Wall for TVs.
If not using satellite, I hook coax to campsite cable and A/B switch to Cable. Very easy.

Splitter is behind your antenna amp button. Remove cover and install an A/B switch so you can either use Sat. or campground cable

PNTR10, I was also having the same problem with pictures. Finally started taking them with the tablet turned sideways (landscape vs. portrait mode) and that worked. If I remember correctly, it might have been C WITT who gave me that idea, as well. Maybe we have found our photo expert.
