Windsport 29M

I am considering trading up to the Windsport 29M.
Anyone have any pros or cons on this model?
I am especially concerned about all the weight on the full body slide.

We bought a 2020 Hurricane 29M (I think if is almost identical to the Windsport) last November and are quite pleased with it. As delivered it weighed 15,760# with 3/4 tank of gas and 3/4 tank of propane but no other cargo. (5880# front and 9880# rear) It has a 18,000 GVWR, My wife and I love the floor plan created by the full wall slide and are pleased with the quality from Thor. We drove it from Michigan to south Texas and back last winter and my only real complaint is that it seems to wander back and forth a lot while driving. (Others complain of this too with the Ford F-53 chassis) I am getting a front end alignment soon and may do some suspension upgrades after that. Other than that it is great and I would recommend it.

29M Windsport

We have a 2019 Hurricane 29M. I had the same issues when I bought it. First Trip was a weekend shakedown from Sarasota to Ft Myers. About 100 mile trip I was amazed at how bad it handled. When I got home upgraded to heavy duty sway bars front and back, sumo springs on the front and a SafetyPlus steering stabilizer. Also had an alignment done. Other than the alignment I did all the mods myself, You Tube was a great help. It now handles great, no sway with passing trucks and crosswinds.
We really likes the layout and for the most part have been really happy with the coach, we did replace the sofa with RecPro recliners. It’s a perfect size for 2 and the grandkids on occasional trips with us.

We have a 2019 windsport 29M and installed the roadmaster sway bar and 4 timbrens this summer. We drove it from Tucson az to Condon Montana and back. Made a big difference on curves and with the wind. It stopped the rig from wandering all over the road and when going around curves it kept the rig stable. The rubber timbres enhanced the ride on rough roads or hitting potholes, they aid with the leaf springs.
