Winegard & Axxera TV help

We just bought a used 2020 Axis , it did not come with any manual for the Winegard and the Axxera TV manual doesn’t explain how to connect to satellite . Any help would be greatly appreciated since we can’t get an appointment with our dealers service department for over a month !

What satellite service do you have (Direct or Dish), the cover can be removed on the Winegard dome antenna on the roof and there is a row of dip switches that need to be set for the service you have (unless you know it was already set correctly to match Direct or Dish when you bought it and that is the service you plan to use).
There are specific satellite boxes which must be used with dome style antennas (for example Walley for Dish) and the cabling from the roof dome antenna may vary also, depending on if you want to have a dvr type capability (for example 2 coax cables from Winegard dome to Direct TV HR24 DVR).
After you have the correct box, the correct coax and the correct antenna settings, and the correct HDMI input selected on your TV, then you will be able to go through all of the on-screen satelite tv setups on your tv.

Does the traveler antenna use dip switches? Winegard told me know. Dealer says yes.

What Winegard do you have. The Connect2 which is supplied on all new Axis is not a satellite antenna. It is an over the air antenna for TV, a cell antenna that provides data by wifi but no satellite.

In one of the cabinets will be a wallplate with a button to switch between over the air HDTV reception through the Winegard ConnecT 2 antenna or cable TV when connected to the jack on the outside of the coach. When the LED is lit, you are using the antenna.
