Winterizing ACE 30.2 questions

What am I missing?

1. Drained Hot water heater
2. Drained Fresh Water Tank
3. Drained grey and black tanks
4. Need to locate hotwater heater bypass valve? DONE (under sink)
5. Looks like I need some kind of hose to suck anti freeze into system with tube near outdoor shower. Where do I get this?

Get an air hose adapter from CW or Amazon to blow out your water lines. Set air compressor to 50-60 psi, attach adapter to water inlet, and open faucets one at a time until they are clear. Don't forget outside showers or kitchens. Pour about 1 cup of pink antifreeze in each trap. Water pump should have an inlet for antifreeze, use just enough to fill pump. Done!

This is what an adapter looks like:

For winter storage with selective winter use. I drain the fresh water tank fill it up with about 8 gallons of rv antifreeze go around the rig and run every single item till pink starts coming out that way I can use my rig in the winter and we use the antifreeze to flush the toilet and nothing freezes. Haven't had an issue in 20 yrs.

Your list did not have opening of the "low point drains", those are located past the water pump. If you have an outdoor kitchen you will also have low point drains there.

The anti freeze piece you are looking for is easy to install. It will go before the water pump.

What is the point of low point drains? If you use the pink stuff it'll be in the lines as well as the faucets. Seriously, I don't see the point.

Low point drains will get most of the water out of your plumbing, just make sure you open all the faucets at the same time.

I don't like using pink stuff any more than is necessary which is why I use an air compressor to blow out the lines. I still use the low point drains and pour pink stuff in the traps. You also need to make sure your black and grey tanks are empty.

Look near your water pump inside: There may already be a valve and a spot to hook into.

Our Vegas was already setup the only things I needed was a fitting and some hose. Both of which I was able to get at a nearby home improvement store.

I've never used the low point drains for winterizing...
I've either sucked antifreeze in... Or blown lines out... In either case I've seen no need to open the low points...

If I had to work on lines, I would open the low points to get water out.... Then again, might just hook up the compressor then too.

I think this capability to suck up the anti freeze is already there per this video

If you go to about 3:15 into the video you'll see what I'm trying to do since I don't have an air compressor. What I need is the description of that hose to run into my bottle of anti freeze.

Sorry these photos are upside down...

Between the fresh water tank and the water pump (usually less than a foot apart) should be a shutoff for the tank (likely the drain valve too) then a tee with a piece of hose coming off and capped... That is the point to add antifreeze. Remove that cap and take to hardware store to match the fitting and a couple of feet of hose.

To use, bypass the water heater, turn off the supply from tank, connect your hose and place end into antifreeze, turn on the water pump and open each hot and cold valve (don't forget outside shower and toilet) until pink comes out.... That usually takes a gallon... I switch to second gallon and go around again....

That should get antifreeze in all supply lines and drains.
